Responsibilities • Lead the Ad Exchange and RTB domain as a tech lead for the Offsite Brand Ads team, designing and building highly scalable, low‑latency online systems.
• Work closely with Brand Ads DSP and SSP partners to connect demand and supply, maximizing vendor investment returns.
• Partner with Brand Ads management, serving, and optimization teams to deliver real‑time signals and campaign setups.
• Own end‑to‑end architecture, drive performance enhancements through machine learning and AI technologies.
• Mentor and grow engineering teams, influencing without authority and fostering cross‑functional collaboration.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or a closely related field.
• 8+ years of experience in large distributed systems and system design.
• 8+ years of coding experience in Java, Go, C++ or other strongly typed languages.
• Hands‑on experience leading teams to build large‑scale real‑time services.
• Successful experience building large‑scale advertising or ad‑exchange systems.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience handling large data volumes in a distributed environment.
• Senior technical leader with end‑to‑end ads system ownership.
• Rich experience with AWS services and building AD Exchange / RTB systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence without authority.
• Familiarity with Agile practices, code reviews, testing, CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven ability to lead and collaborate in cross‑functional, fast‑paced environments.
• Experience managing mission‑critical services with high throughput and low latency.
