Private Equity Senior Associate

Private Equity Senior Associate – Software (Los Angeles) We are partnering with a software-focused private equity firm seeking to add a Senior Associate to its Los Angeles-based investment team.

The firm invests exclusively in software businesses and operates with a highly autonomous, execution-oriented culture. This role offers hands‑on exposure across the full investment lifecycle, including transaction execution, due diligence, financial analysis, and portfolio company support.

Responsibilities

Support the evaluation and execution of software-focused investments

Lead financial modeling, analysis, and due diligence workstreams

Contribute to investment committee materials and decision‑making processes

Assist with portfolio company monitoring and value‑creation initiatives

Requirements

2–4 years of experience in private equity (buy‑side experience required)

Strong transaction and deal execution experience

Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills

Ability to independently evaluate and discuss investment opportunities

Prior software investment experience preferred but not required
