Salary Estimate: $144,206.40 – $216,320.00 / year

Job Summary and Qualifications The Vice President leads strategic planning and business development for the service line and identifies opportunities to drive differentiation and improve the overall quality and delivery of services provided. The role involves developing and implementing strategic plans aligned to business objectives and engaging stakeholders as partners in the pursuit of excellence in patient care.

Major Responsibilities Quality

Lead the development and implementation of evidence‑based practices, patient safety initiatives, and quality strategies; establish standards of care.

Drive performance improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and cost.

Establish goals to differentiate the service line as a leader in quality and patient safety.

Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Develop and implement patient throughput strategies, including capacity planning and admission/discharge coordination.

Direct nursing practice and unit operations with policies and procedures to meet patient and family needs.

Service

Foster an unparalleled patient experience culture that attracts physicians and patients.

Leverage feedback mechanisms to benchmark performance and improve customer/patient satisfaction.

Design and implement a strategic roadmap to enhance the patient experience.

Collaborate with experts to ensure compliance with evidence‑based practices that improve experience and service.

People

Build and sustain a culture aligning with the organization’s vision, mission, and values.

Recognize, value, and support employees; implement strategies to elevate engagement.

Identify development opportunities and provide coaching and training.

Attract, develop, engage, and retain talent to meet business needs.

Growth

Lead strategic planning and business development of the service line.

Collaborate with administrative teams and physicians on new service offerings.

Monitor external healthcare factors and competition.

Develop strategic external relationships to advance the organization’s position and foster referral networks.

Finance

Develop long‑ and short‑term operational and capital plans aligned with objectives.

Prioritize capital equipment needs and assess ROI for initiatives.

Monitor budget performance, identify trends, and address variances.

Provide cost‑effective resource management and cost‑reduction initiatives.

Manage labor, scheduling, and staffing to ensure appropriate patient care.

Other

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statement.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree or other approved education plan (Required)

Master’s Degree or other approved education plan (Preferred)

5+ years applicable experience (Required)
