Responsibilities
Manages a portfolio of commercial customers in partnership with the relationship manager.
Has regular contact with and a visible role in managing the customer relationship with the assigned account.
Deepens and retains profitable customer relationships by proactively evaluating and mitigating business risks and opportunities.
Optimizes customer relationships by working directly with Relationship Managers to grow fees, deposits, and portfolio revenue.
Owns primary responsibility for the credit quality and monitoring of commercial portfolio risks, including risk rating new credits and updating risk grades.
Responsible for underwriting quality, portfolio administration, and ongoing credit quality of assigned portfolio.
Works directly with the Team Leader, Regional CRE Management, and Regional Credit Officer.
Works with RMs on loan closings.
Presents proposed credit actions in written analysis documents and verbally to the Senior Loan Committee.
Conducts portfolio reviews with senior management.
Functions in a team environment, collaborating with teams outside direct reporting lines; participates in special projects.
Mentors Credit Analysts to develop required competencies and experience.
Prioritizes work to meet customer expectations.
Analyzes existing portfolio to identify trends and opportunities.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of market and industry trends.
Participates in special projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
8+ years experience in commercial real‑estate underwriting.
Exempt Status Yes – not eligible for overtime pay.
Compensation $77,000.00 – $154,000.00 annual salary. This range represents the low and high ends of the base compensation. Actual compensation varies based on factors such as location, experience, and performance. Eligible for an incentive compensation plan.
