Join Norton Children’s Medical Group and The University of Louisville School of Medicine as a strategic leader serving as Division Chief of Pediatric Cardiology and Co‑Director of the Norton Children’s Heart Institute.
Norton Children’s Heart Institute at The University of Louisville – Best Children’s Hospital in Kentucky (U.S. News & World Report 2024‑2025). The Institute is a 300‑bed Level I Pediatric Trauma Center located adjacent to a state‑of‑the‑art multidisciplinary outpatient office building, fully integrated with an academic clinical care model that translates research into bedside care.
Key Responsibilities
Advance the program by constructing and implementing strategies for programmatic growth across clinical, educational, and research programs.
Build upon a dynamic team of over 40 cardiology providers, provide mentorship to junior faculty, and grow the team to meet clinical access needs.
As Co‑Director of the Heart Institute, build and maintain strong collaborative and collegial relationships with Cardiac Surgery, Cardiac ICU, and Cardiac Anesthesiology divisions.
Leverage a national/international reputation to advance the profile of the Heart Institute and achieve recognition as one of the premiere institutes regionally and nationally.
