Technical Project Manager – Fire Alarm Installation Seattle

Description Position Overview We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee fire alarm installation projects from kickoff through final acceptance. This role ensures projects are executed safely, on schedule, within scope, and in full compliance with NFPA and AHJ requirements. The TPM works closely with the Division Manager and serves as the primary point of contact for customers, general contractors, and field technicians.
Key Responsibilities
Manage project schedules, manpower distribution, installation workflows, and material procurement.
Review drawings, submittals, and specifications for accuracy and readiness.
Provide technical guidance and support to installation teams.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
Coordinate inspections, testing, and project turnover with AHJs and clients.
Handle project documentation including contracts, RFIs, change orders, and closeout packages.
Maintain strong communication with customers and project stakeholders.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience in fire alarm or low-voltage installation project management preferred.
Strong understanding of NFPA 72 and construction site coordination.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Exhibits attention to detail with high standards for accuracy and follow through.
Hold and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets Company requirements.
This is a safety sensitive position and will be subject to post accident, reasonable suspicion or contract required drug testing.
