About the role
The Investment Strategist at Unison is responsible for creating client material and presenting that material to clients, onboarding clients, doing analyses as well as balancing other possible tasks and still remaining focused on deadlines. The successful candidate will work directly with Investment Management clients, the sales team and the portfolio management team. This role provides analytical work in the areas of investments, cash strategies (liquidity), options analysis, asset allocation and performance analysis. This is a hybrid position with a requirement of 3 full days in our San Francisco, California office. Responsibilities
Maintain a target list of all industry conferences Maintain Institutional Sales and Marketing master client list via Salesforce Build use cases for Unison’s assets with an understanding of how clients can use our asset and implement strategies Be an expert on our company culture and brainstorm ways to reflect this in your team Collaborate with Unison’s internal Portfolio Management, Research, Operations, Compliance/Legal and Consumer Teams Monitor portfolio for alignment to goals‑based investment policy, client suitability and regulatory compliance. Collaborate on investor‑facing research and presentations to support the institutional sales and marketing effort Become a SME on liability‑driven investment strategy and ESG investing Partner with internal stakeholders such as Research, Portfolio Management and Investment Operations to understand Unison’s business and deliver client solutions Evaluate prospect and client portfolios including performance, risk, allocation, tax and/or attribution analysis. About you
BA in a quantitative field or related discipline Have a broad investment knowledge of equity, fixed income and real estate asset classes and portfolio design. 3+ years wealth management experience Successful long‑term track record of successfully selling alternative investments to pension funds in the US and Canada. Proficiency in Google applications, Microsoft Office, Salesforce CRM, Preqin and Bloomberg. Ability to effectively explain complex investment strategies in understandable terms. Impeccable detail orientation skills, flexibility, and self‑motivation Experience with client‑facing presentations Perks

Pursuant to California Labor Code § 432.3, the salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000. This range reflects the base salary that the Company reasonably expects to pay for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location. Additional compensation may include bonuses, commissions, equity, or other benefits.
