company is seeking a Crime Gun Intelligence Specialist L3 to support our government customer in Washington, DC. Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt. Security Clearance. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.

Koniag Government Solutions (KGS) is seeking a Crime Gun Intelligence (CGI) Specialist Level III to provide advanced analytical, investigative, and coordination support for ATF operations. The CGI Specialist Level III will provide comprehensive intelligence gathering, analysis, and investigative support while coordinating with multiple law enforcement agencies. Intelligence Operations
Process IBIS evidence entries
Conduct correlation reviews
Perform comprehensive tracing
Distribute unconfirmed hits
Manage site operations
Ensure quality control
Coordinate intelligence collection
Program Development
Expand agency participation
Conduct presentations/training
Perform site surveys
Coordinate with partner agencies
Support NIBIN/E-Trace implementation
Manage compliance requirements
Develop program initiatives
Investigative Support
Identify high-value targets
Support criminal investigations
Assist with judicial proceedings
Interview subjects/witnesses
Prepare investigative reports
Support undercover operations
Coordinate with law enforcement

Advanced NIBIN/IBIS knowledge
Experience with e-Trace

Experience with firearms
Knowledge of judicial processes
Understanding of compliance
Multi‑agency coordination experience
Report writing expertise
Investigation management skills
Experience with RMS systems
Knowledge of audit procedures
Understanding of evidence handling
Experience with classified information
Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Preferred: 5 years’ investigative experience
Law enforcement background
Experience coordinating multi‑agency efforts
This senior‑level position requires extensive investigative experience, strong leadership abilities, and the capability to coordinate effectively across multiple law enforcement agencies while maintaining high standards for intelligence operations and investigations.
