Enterprise Architect Client: On‑line Systems, Inc., a direct vendor to The State of Connecticut with more than 20 years of experience.

Assignment: 18‑24 month hybrid engagement. 3 days a week onsite in East Hartford, CT.

Scope of Work

Data Center Build Coordination (Phase 1 of the project).

Provide architectural oversight for new facility readiness (power distribution, UPS/generator, HVAC, structured cabling, rack design, aisle containment).

Validate vendor/facilities designs for scalability, high availability, and integration with disaster recovery requirements.

Coordinate with multiple organizations and vendors in facilities management, construction, and IT engineering.

Confirm physical and logical safeguards align with CJIS/NIST requirements.

Work alongside facilities and third‑party vendors to ensure infrastructure (e.g., power, cooling, cabling, racks, and physical security) is designed and implemented to enterprise standards.

Migration & Cutover Leadership (Phase 2 of the project).

Serve as lead technical authority for migration of VMware clusters, Dell EMC storage platforms, Cisco core networking, and Palo Alto firewalls/security.

Develop and maintain detailed cutover/migration runbooks with rollback procedures.

Oversee data replication, SRM/DR testing, and workload moves with minimal downtime.

Validate end‑to‑end performance (apps, storage, network) post‑migration.

Lead after‑hours/weekend cutover windows to protect business continuity.

Project Management and Security.

Organize and track project activities, milestones, and dependencies.

Partner with Judicial leadership to define resource plans and timelines.

Produce authoritative documentation (as‑built diagrams, baselines, runbooks, and lessons learned).

Ensure consistent communication with stakeholders, vendors, and facilities throughout both phases.

Perform structured risk assessments for each phase and define mitigations.

Validate network segmentation, firewall/security policies, and Zero Trust design.

Ensure logging, monitoring, and auditing are active for CJIS/NIST compliance.
