Job Description Visa Consulting and Analytics is the externally facing strategy consulting group of Visa. We draw on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, and pragmatic industry experience to improve client performance. Our clients span financial institutions, merchants, fintechs, acquirers, processors, and cooperative enabler organizations. Visa Implementation Services delivers hands‑on execution of strategic roadmaps and go‑to‑market initiatives.
Today you will lead strategic consulting engagements targeting financial institutions undergoing M&A activity or pursuing transformation agendas. This role focuses on business development and sales support, leveraging expertise in debit/credit/prepaid card processor conversions, core banking platform migrations, and merchant acquiring. Your background will combine industry experience with consulting expertise, excelling in client engagement, storytelling, and executive‑level presentations. A strong background in formal RFI/RFP evaluations of card processors, with the ability to replicate content and structure, is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
Consultative Selling & Business Development – Lead client engagements to uncover needs, challenges, and transformation opportunities in payments and core banking.
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with senior executives at target financial institutions.
Manage a pipeline of opportunities and deliver against consulting sales targets.
Present Visa and partner solutions that address client requirements for processor conversions, core banking migrations, and merchant acquiring optimization.
Identify decision‑making stakeholders and navigate complex client organizations.
Design and lead conversion strategy plans for debit, credit, prepaid platforms.
Conduct formal RFI/RFP processes for processor evaluations, including requirements definition, vendor scoring models, and recommendation presentations.
Leverage Visa’s assets and third‑party partnerships to build bespoke and scalable solutions.
Ensure flawless project delivery, from roadmap development to implementation oversight.
Develop high‑quality, visually compelling MS PowerPoint materials for executive presentations.
Translate complex technical and operational concepts into clear, engaging narratives for diverse audiences.
Stay ahead of industry trends in payments, core banking, and digital transformation.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
10+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years with an Advanced Degree (Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years with a PhD.
Preferred Qualifications
12+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8–10 years with an Advanced Degree or 6+ years with a PhD.
Proven experience in card processor conversions (debit, credit, prepaid) from both industry and consulting perspectives.
Experience conducting formal RFI/RFP vendor evaluations, including documentation, scoring, and executive recommendations.
Experience working in the Banking industry and on core banking conversions (FIS, Fiserv, Jack Henry, etc.).
Experience working in the Merchant Acquiring industry with a solid understanding of the operating model.
Strong project/program management skills with a record of flawless delivery.
Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills — expert‑level proficiency in MS PowerPoint.
Experience across the client engagement lifecycle: proposal creation, pricing, pitching, SOW writing, and execution oversight.
Ability to work with third parties, identify and source skills required to implement client‑specific transformation engagements.
Ability to work across diverse client types, from large financial institutions to fintech startups.
Self‑motivated and results‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements:
5‑10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements:
This position will be performed in an office setting. The incumbent will sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, and frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

Salary may vary depending on job‑related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
