The Georgetown Law Library is looking for forward-thinking candidates with strong project management skills to apply for the Head of Law Library Technology.

The Head of Law Library Technology plans and implements Law Library technology initiatives and applications in order to support the research and educational mission and operations of the Law Library. The incumbent supervises and monitors the routine maintenance of the Law Library’s technology infrastructure and facilitates short- and long-term projects to make improvements and ensure that the library’s servers, platforms, applications, and web resources run smoothly and are compliant with University requirements.
As a manager, the Head of Law Library Technology supervises, trains, and assesses the work of three full-time staff members and 1-2 student assistants. Responsible for the department’s policies, procedures, and workflows, the Head of Law Library Technology collaborates closely with other Law Library departments to evaluate and advise on new services and projects, resolve problems as they arise, and develop and maintain documentation. This position serves as a point of contact for systems and technology vendors, and is expected to actively participate in professional organizations and stay current on developing technologies, standards, and practices.
