Home Base seeks to hire a data engineer who will support a variety of tasks involving database and data warehouse management, design, ETL scripting, data validation, support/troubleshooting, as well as related dev ops and documentation. The qualified candidate will be highly detail-oriented and have a strong interest in and aptitude for data management, engineering, and problem-solving.

The successful candidate must be highly organized, motivated, and able to thrive both in the context of long-term, complex team engineering projects as well as the fast-paced environment of supporting production systems for a dynamic organization. Therefore, it is extremely important that the candidate possesses the ability to carefully keep track of multiple work streams including asking for input when needed. This position is not a supervisor or senior engineer, but may involve mentorship of co-ops, and does include the opportunity for growth. In the short term, it will focus on supporting data migration to Salesforce, as well as building out integrations in the Home Base data warehouse to more fully utilize enterprise data warehouse assets in Snowflake.**Job Summary**Summary

They combine raw information from different sources to create consistent and machine-readable formats, and they develop and test architectures that enable data extraction and transformation for predictive or prescriptive modeling.

-Design, develop, and implement data pipelines and ETL/ELT code to support business requirements.

-Maintain and optimize various components of the data pipeline architecture.

-Deliver high quality, efficient solutions to meet technical standards and industry best practices.

-Deliver optimal technical solutions for business and operational requirements.

-Participate in team design sessions and contribute options and solutions Produce and support product documentation.
