Job Purpose

As a Hill’s Professional Consulting Veterinarian (PCV) in Dallas, TX, you will blend clinical expertise with public speaking, education, and collaboration to represent Hill’s and advance pet health.

What You Will Do

Promote active recommendation and endorsement of Hill’s products.

Call on specialty hospital customers with appropriate frequency based on tier.

Build influential partnerships with Key Thought Leaders and specialty hospital teams.

Deliver impactful educational presentations at veterinary practices, conferences, and group events.

Train Hill’s Market Area sales teams, providing technical education and product expertise.

Mentor and support Territory Managers and other team members.

Collaborate within your Market Area to plan, organize, and execute educational and advocacy initiatives.

Represent Hill’s at conferences, meetings, and customer events.

Participate in cross‑functional project teams, collaborating with marketing, sales, and scientific peers.

Enhance the reach and effectiveness of education using digital tools and platforms.

Required Qualifications

DVM/VMD (or equivalent)

4+ years of clinical practice experience.

Current, active veterinary license in at least one U.S. state.

Valid driver’s license with no moving violations.

Ability to travel overnight 2–3 nights per week on average.

Strong work ethic, growth mindset, and polished professional presence.

Ability to independently manage a demanding, flexible schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in animal health industry or sales.

Business/leadership skills.

Willingness to relocate for advancement.

Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $110,000.00 - $145,000.00 USD. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, 401(k) retirement plan with company matching (subject to eligibility), 15 vacation/PTO days, 13 paid holidays, and paid sick leave per local laws.
