The Clinical Psychologist works closely with the Director of Psychology to provide the highest quality individual and group clinical supervision and training experience to Psychological Associates, APA Psychology interns, and Practicum students. The candidate will provide supervision and training in both clinical and psychological assessment areas. Additional managerial tasks will be as assigned including occasional direct patient care and provide coverage for Director during absences. Key objectives are to maintain the quality and integrity of the program working within a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals.

Pay Range $145,600-164,320 Annual

Hybrid Model Remote and On Site

Essential Functions

Licensed as a Clinical Psychologist in CA and able to provide individual, and group supervision in accordance with Board of Psychology Regulations, and BBS regulations.

Able to supervise psychological assessment and testing including administration and report writing of a wide range of tests.

Assist in the management of a team of Psychologists in training and other mental health clinicians.

Engage in interviewing, training, and onboarding of all new staff to the Psychology and other Clinical Departments and needed.

Assume some Director tasks in the absence of the Director of Psychology.

Clinical Supervisory Responsibilities

Training and clinical supervision of pre and post-doctoral and Masters level interns in both group and individual therapy formats.

Training and supervision in aspects of psychological assessment and testing.

Support activities of the Department Head including program development, program and schedule oversight and performance improvement projects.

Provide process-oriented group supervision for interns, as well as psycho-educational and other didactic group supervision for patients using various professional treatment modalities.

Provide supervision on individual, couples, or family therapy and assessment to students using evidence based highest quality modalities for which they have received an adequate amount of training and supervision.

Report to community/state agencies any patient issues required and represents facility in any legal proceedings.

Engage in program development, and provide additional specialist interventions for specific populations (e.g. Military, Child/ Adolescent etc.).

Attend required meetings, function on committees as needed.

Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (PhD, or PsyD)

Full Unrestricted License to practice in the state of California min of 2 years

Proficiency in group and individual therapy CBT, DBT and ACT modalities

Proficiency in psychological assessment/ testing

Preferred Education and Experience

Experience working in a Psychiatric Hospital

Experience treating Active-Duty Military and/or First Responders

Experience treating children and adolescents

2 years plus of supervision experience
