The General Manager drives culture, overall leadership and direction of the store. We ensure team engagement, execution of goals, set expectations and accountability, and deliver overall Caribou Brand experience. Success is rooted in Team, Guest, Quality and Core Values. What You Deliver
Demonstrates excellence as Assistant General Manager with enthusiasm and excellence. Team
Models, upholds and implements Caribou policies, practices, and standards. Ensures store is fully staffed for shifts, maintain up‑to‑date schedules, plan bench planning and development. Owns entire recruiting process: job posts, sourcing, follow‑up, interviewing, hiring, onboarding. Keeps team engaged and energized. Executes Role‑Based Training and LTO/Promotional Window training. Communicates expectations clearly and explains “why behind the what”. Keeps accurate records in Workday. Ensures safety of Team Members and Guests. Coaches, trains, develops team to generate best DOING and BEING every shift and interaction, fostering culture of growth and career progression. Delivers proactive, timely, thoughtful coaching conversations and feedback to support team. Guest
Exemplifies incredible guest experience at all times. Trains and develops team to provide best‑in‑class guest experience. Demonstrates and teaches guest recovery. Takes ownership of Guest Satisfaction metrics and results. Represents Caribou handling guest complaints and issues; sincere approach to find effective solution. Consistently acts as business owner – takes ownership of store and team success. Owns importance and execution of food safety, sanitization, health and safety of store, using company tools. Champion of executing standard operating procedures. Appreciates store systems: CrunchTime, GoSpotCheck, EcoSure, TeamworX, Medallia, Workday, Beekeeper, etc. Deep understanding of P&L to build financial plans and fiscal responsibility. Creates energy, enthusiasm, focus to meet and exceed sales goals. Efficient inventory control and waste management. Assists with quality store operations and in‑store sales building activities. Ensures quality guest experience by fast friendly service, verifying product meets Caribou quality standards, clean safe environment per company and ServSafe guidelines. Minimizes loss through cash handling policies, proper training, compliance with accounting/banking requirements. Being – How You Show Up

Required
Minimum 2-3 years of restaurant, retail, or guest service management experience or combined experience and education. Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training. Must be 18 years of age or older. Has a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Preferred

$20.82 - $39.77 per hour Starting pay is subject to local and state minimum wage regulations. Ranges reflect what employer reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for such position. The physical demands for this position are reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical demands may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations. The duties of this position may change from time to time.
