Senior Conversation Interaction Designer, XR Location:

San Jose, CA; Kirkland, WA; New York, NY; Los Angeles, CA; Seattle, WA; San Francisco, CA

This role may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus.

Responsibilities

Design and iterate on natural language flows for XR conversational interfaces.

Develop and refine model behavior for LLMs to ensure accurate, on‑brand, integrated responses.

Produce interaction flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using Figma for audio and visual experiences.

Guide UX Writing across product portfolio, establishing voice and tone guidelines.

Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to align on unified goals, balancing user, tech, and business requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

6 years of interaction design experience in product or UX design.

5 years of conversation design experience.

Experience designing voice, conversational, AI or multi‑modal interfaces.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Design, HCI, CS or related field.

Experience in UX writing, content design, technical writing, or related field leading content strategy.

Experience designing for products spanning multiple hardware platforms.

Experience in design strategy and design thinking.

Experience creating, implementing, defining or working with design systems.

The XR team focuses on the convergence of AI and XR, building lightweight devices paired with AI for personalized, conversational experiences. Our team collaborates with UX, Research, Writing, Content Strategists, Program Managers, and Engineers to create industry‑leading products. Our US base salary range for this full‑time position is $151,000–$222,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary varies by role, level, and location.
