Fast‑paced, dynamic, and proactive, YouTube’s Trust & Safety team is dedicated to making YouTube a safe place for users, viewers, and content creators around the world to create, express themselves, and connect with one another. Whether understanding and solving online content concerns, navigating global legal frameworks, or writing and enforcing worldwide policy, the Trust & Safety team is on the frontlines of enhancing the YouTube experience, building internet safety, and protecting free speech in our ever‑evolving digital world. Responsibilities
Research and stay up to date on key trends and suspicious patterns across policy areas. Track and monitor performance toward key metrics, deliver and implement improvement strategies. Oversee enforcement quality across policy areas, including calibrations with vendor teams. Handle escalations with fast turn‑around time to define the best plan and implement quickly. Provide timely updates to executives. Work cross‑functionally, think strategically, and keep our users safe while protecting free speech. Review controversial and offensive video content in‑line with YouTube’s Community Guidelines. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 4 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cyber‑security, or related fields. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with machine learning. Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or scripting/programming language (e.g., Python). Ability to influence cross‑functionally at various levels. Excellent communication and presentation (written and verbal) skills.
