Who we are looking for: ACV Auctions Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic Recon Team Lead/Quality Control who has an eye for details. Our Recon Team Lead/Quality Control will be responsible for the training of our detailers ensuring a quality result with each vehicle serviced. They are meticulous subject matter experts in all things detailing and personally sign off on each vehicle that comes through the department. At ACV Auctions we pride ourselves on Trust, Transparency, Credibility, and Customer service and our Recon Team Lead/Quality Control delivers this to our customers every day.
What you will do:
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Mentor, train and coach new detailers on processes, procedures, techniques and safe handling.
Handle teammate questions regarding customers and best practices.
Quality control by reviewing each car serviced for satisfactory detailing and deciding if a vehicle needs to be sent back through the lane.
Utilize the extractor machine for heavy stain removal.
Provide specialty detailing services while following safety protocols.
Responsible for ensuring laundry is completed and rags are available for use.
Manage supplies inventory and report low stock to the Recon Manager.
Transport vehicles to the staging area after detail is completed.
Jump vehicles that will not start, in order to service.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
What you will need:
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
One year experience working with a team
Able to work in heat, cold and a damp environment.
Able to climb ladders and work in heights.
Able to bend, squat, twist, stoop and stretch in normal completion of job duties.
Able to work with various chemicals in the completion of job duties.
Ability to complete basic work on a tablet and/or computer.
