Fastlane Lending Solutions is a point-of-sale Home Improvement Lending business, focused on offering homeowners financing products that allow them to complete home projects with reputable contractors and dealers. We offer highly competitive lending products and a smooth and attractive application and approval process.
We are seeking a mid-level
Technical Product Manager
to lead the development of Fastlane’s lending features and customer-facing products from concept to launch. You’ll help define our roadmap, translate business needs into technical requirements, and work closely with engineering to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a startup-like environment, enjoys solving real-world problems, and knows how to balance speed with quality. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, compliance, and sales to deliver impactful solutions that meet market needs and drive business growth.
As a remote-first organization, Fastlane Lending Solutions is geographically distributed across the US. This role is fully remote anywhere in the United States and can also take advantage of Bayview’s offices in New York City, NY, or Coral Gables, FL. Compensation range $112,000 to $140,000 in base pay, with meaningful bonus/upside potential negotiable based on experience and location.
Responsibilities Product Strategy & Technical Roadmap
Maintain a rolling 3-month roadmap aligned with company objectives and strategic goals.
Support monthly roadmap reviews with cross-functional stakeholders.
Continuously refine priorities based on technical constraints, market feedback, and business goals.
Technical Backlog Management
Translate product ideas into clear, actionable technical requirements and user stories.
Partner with solution architects and engineers to validate system design and integration points.
Ensure backlog items are well-groomed, technically scoped, and ready for development.
Agile Leadership
Prepare and lead weekly discoveries, planning, reviews, and retrospectives with the engineering team.
Document decisions, technical trade-offs, and implementation plans.
Monitor development performance and velocity to ensure consistent delivery.
System
Support identifying, triaging, and prioritizing operational bugs across internal and customer-facing systems.
Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to reproduce issues, assess impact, and drive timely resolution.
Manage issue triage and resolution, technical debugging, and resolution workflows.
Feature Research & Technical Discovery
Conduct interviews among stakeholders to identify high-value problems.
Translate insights into product enhancements and roadmap adjustments.
Technical & Reporting Systems Support
Partner with internal teams to enhance and maintain reporting infrastructure, including dashboards, CRM systems, data pipelines, and BI tools.
Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and usability across systems.
Define and prioritize enhancements to internal tools and systems that support compliance, operations, and performance tracking.
Support integration of third-party systems and APIs to streamline reporting and operational workflows.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integrity, system performance, and reporting logic.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience in Technical Product Management, Business Analysis, or a similar role in SaaS or FinTech.
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and technical documentation tools.
Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
Experience with APIs, data models, system integrations, and cloud infrastructure.
Experience with reporting tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Demonstrated ability to write clear technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams in Agile environments.
Familiarity with lending workflows, banking compliance, or loan origination systems.
Excellent communication skills—able to bridge business and technical conversations.
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with limited supervision, in a fast-paced work environment.
