Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the SLED market.
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, decision‑makers, and procurement officers in SLED agencies.
Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed revenue and growth targets.
Collaborate with internal teams to respond to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
Stay informed about federal procurement processes, regulations, and trends in government IT spending.
Present Xerox portfolio of IT solutions, including managed services, hardware, software, and cloud technologies, to SLED clients.
Maintain accurate records of opportunities, forecasts, and activities in the CRM system.
Ensure all sales activities comply with SLED contracting rules and regulations.
Work closely with technical teams, contract managers, and marketing to deliver customized solutions for clients.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of sales experience in the federal government sector.
Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Familiarity with SLED procurement processes.
Strong understanding of IT products and services, including cloud, hardware, and managed services.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred
Established relationships with federal agencies and system integrators.
Experience working with or selling through government contracting vehicles.
Knowledge of SLED IT initiatives and policies.
