Infosys is seeking an
AI/ML & Generative AI Engineer
with deep expertise in designing, developing and deploying advanced AI solutions, including large‑language models (LLMs) and agentic AI architectures. The ideal candidate will collaborate with clients to understand complex business challenges, architect scalable AI solutions and deploy them using modern cloud platforms such as Azure ML and GCP AI Services.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and deploy advanced AI solutions, including LLMs, agentic frameworks and vector database solutions.
Work closely with clients across banking, finance and capital‑markets to translate business requirements into technical architecture.
Fine‑tune LLMs, build agentic orchestration pipelines and enable retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) workflows.
Deploy ML models and AI services using cloud‑based MLOps and AI/ML platforms (e.g., SageMaker, Snowflake, Azure, GCP).
Maintain and monitor data pipelines, APIs and deployment pipelines to ensure robust, scalable delivery.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience may substitute for one year of education.
At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
At least 4 years of experience in Python programming, OOP, data structures and API development.
At least 3 years of experience in Big Data technologies (e.g., BigQuery, Hadoop).
At least 2 years of experience with Azure or GCP and their AI/ML services.
At least 2 years of experience in ML model development, data engineering and software engineering principles.
At least 3 years of experience in MLOps and AI/ML deployment (e.g., SageMaker, Snowflake).
At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with Generative AI, LLMs and agentic frameworks.
Candidate must reside within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC or be willing to relocate; travel within the United States is possible.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with API gateway development and deployment on Azure/GCP.
Hands‑on experience with vector databases and RAG pipelines.

Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to evaluate multiple solution paths.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Domain expertise in banking, finance or capital‑markets is a plus.
