Job Title: Technical Project Manager – Data & Analytics
Location: Tampa, FL
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead complex data and analytics programs leveraging modern cloud-based data platforms, including Snowflake, staging pipelines, and visualization layers. This role requires a strong blend of technical depth, delivery rigor, and client-facing leadership to manage fixed-price and COE-based engagements from assessment through production rollout. The TPM will work closely with data architects, data analysts, visualization engineers, and client stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of end-to-end data initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end delivery of complex data and analytics projects using cloud technologies such as Snowflake, including data staging pipelines and visualization layers. Lead fixed-price and COE-based engagements, ensuring scope control, timeline adherence, cost management, and high-quality delivery. Drive assessment phases to define project scope, detailed timelines, effort estimates, and delivery roadmaps prior to execution. Develop and maintain detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) that reflect both functional and non-functional requirements, including performance, scalability, security, and load balancing. Translate data architecture and infrastructure designs into actionable project plans and execution tasks. Demonstrate a strong understanding of complex data flows, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure nuances to proactively manage risks and dependencies. Act as the central coordination point connecting data analysts, data architects, and visualization engineers, ensuring alignment from requirements gathering through production deployment. Provide hands-on management of technical teams, tracking deliverables, resolving blockers, and ensuring engineering best practices. Collaborate closely with client onsite teams, facilitating workshops, status meetings, and executive updates. Ensure governance, documentation, and adherence to enterprise delivery standards and compliance requirements. Identify and mitigate technical, delivery, and operational risks throughout the project lifecycle. Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager delivering data, analytics, or cloud transformation projects. Strong understanding of data architecture, data pipelines, and cloud-based analytics platforms (Snowflake experience strongly preferred). Proven expertise in creating detailed WBS for complex technical programs. Experience managing fixed-price and COE engagement models. Hands-on experience working with data architects, analysts, and visualization engineers. Ability to understand and manage end-to-end data flows from ingestion to analytics and visualization. Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills. Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership capabilities. Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with modern visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker). Familiarity with data orchestration and staging tools (Airflow, dbt, etc.). Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
