Operating Room Nurse Manager

We are seeking a registered Operating Room Clinical Manager for the Kansas City Urology Center. In this role you will provide clinical management and expertise over operating room nurses, surgical technicians, and central sterile processing staff to ensure patients receive high quality, efficient care. The opportunity offers future growth and upward mobility within HCA Healthcare. Responsibilities

Manage and supervise all surgical areas of care Establish and maintain an effective and supportive working relationship with your Administrator Ensure that the day‑to‑day operations are conducted in accordance with clinical practice standards and policies of the center Notify the team of scheduling changes to ensure sufficient staffing daily Participate in the monitoring and evaluation of nursing care provided Provide breaks and ensure coverage for meal breaks, late cases, and staffing shortages Monitor the clinical area to ensure materials are provided for upcoming cases Facilitate effective and efficient transition between surgical procedures Delegate, coach, mentor and handle conflict resolution with the team Build trust and gain the respect of the team through effective leadership Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing Minimum 1 year of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center Active RN license as required by state of employment or appropriate compact licensure Valid BCLS Certification upon employment (online certification not acceptable) ACLS as required by facility CNOR certification preferred Benefits
