A well-established Commercial General Contractor based in DFW is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to join their growing team. The company delivers a wide range of commercial projects across the DFW area and is committed to maintaining the highest safety standards on every jobsite.
The Role As Safety Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing company-wide safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, and promoting a strong safety culture across all active projects.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and enforce site-specific and company-wide safety programs
Conduct jobsite safety inspections, audits, and toolbox talks
Ensure compliance with OSHA and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations
Investigate incidents and near-misses and implement corrective actions
Provide safety training and support to project teams, superintendents, and subcontractors
Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, and records
Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related matters across multiple jobsites
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in a Safety Manager or Safety Supervisor role within commercial construction
Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards (OSHA 30 preferred)
Experience working for a Commercial General Contractor
Ability to manage safety across multiple projects simultaneously
Strong communication and leadership skills
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to jobsites across DFW
