Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect/Engineer to design, implement, and optimize scalable, resilient cloud environments across Azure and AWS. This role requires deep expertise in infrastructure automation, security governance, networking, and multi‑cloud architecture to support our strategic cloud initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Architect highly available, fault‑tolerant multi‑cloud solutions aligned with business objectives
Develop technical documentation, architectural blueprints, and best practices
Evaluate and recommend cloud services and emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure efficiency
Automate provisioning, scaling, and resource lifecycle management with Terraform and Ansible
Collaborate with Business and application support to troubleshoot AWS / Azure issues
Work with Security and Compliance teams to design and enforce cloud security architectures, governance frameworks, and compliance controls
Implement identity management, encryption, access control, and regulatory compliance measures
Design hybrid network architectures including VPCs, subnets, VPNs, and direct connect solutions
Develop and document load balancing, DNS, and traffic routing strategies to optimize performance
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network connectivity, latency, and security configurations
Provide technical mentorship and collaborate with Infrastructure, Operations, and Security teams
Participate in architecture reviews and technical decision‑making processes
Present solutions, recommendations, and technical strategies to leadership and stakeholders
Stay ahead of cloud innovations, security trends, and industry advancements
Qualifications
5+ years in infrastructure engineering & cloud architecture required
5+ years hands‑on experience with Azure & AWS infrastructure required
2+ years of expert‑level Terraform development for multi‑cloud automation required
2+ years of hands‑on coding experience deploying resources using IaC Terraform / CloudFormation
Proficiency in AWS / Azure CLI, Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting required
Experience deploying and managing Landing Zone, Control Tower, Guard rails etc required
Strong knowledge of Azure Virtual Networks, Resource Manager, Active Directory, and Key Vault required
Expertise in AWS Transit Gateway, Route tables, Gateway Load Balancers, VPC, IAM, Lambda required
Knowledge of hybrid cloud connectivity, network security, and optimization required
Experience with VPN, direct connect, and access control required
Expertise in Docker, EKS / AKS and container orchestration technologies preferred
Experience with cloud‑native monitoring tools (AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor) preferred
Strong understanding of cloud security principles (CIS, NIST, ISO 27001) preferred
Hands‑on experience with compliance frameworks (SOC2, PCI‑DSS, HIPAA) preferred
Proficiency in security scanning, vulnerability management, and incident response preferred
Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, including error budgets and SLOs preferred
Strong system administration, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
