About the Opportunity
Sutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG) is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiac Electrophysiology team in Santa Rosa, California. This exciting opportunity supports a specialized Atrial Fibrillation Clinic and includes involvement in clinical research, working alongside leading electrophysiologists committed to advancing arrhythmia care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide patient care in the outpatient setting, including initial consultations, follow-up visits, and chronic disease management
Assist with coordination of electrophysiology procedures and peri‑procedural care
Conduct telehealth visits and manage patient communications via the Epic platform
Participate in clinical research activities, including patient enrollment, data collection, and coordination with research teams
Collaborate with electrophysiologists and cardiology teams to ensure continuity and quality of care
Educate patients and families on atrial fibrillation, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications
Contribute to quality improvement and patient experience initiatives

Requirements Education
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program
Licensure & Certifications
Current California NP or PA license
DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate (CSRC)
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Additional certifications as required by department
Experience
Prior experience in cardiology, electrophysiology, or internal medicine preferred
New graduates with a strong interest in cardiac arrhythmia care and research are encouraged to apply
