About The Team Join the Workday Sales Development team and play a key role in transforming how businesses worldwide manage their operations. About The Role The Sales Development Representative collaborates closely with Account Executives to build a quality pipeline of opportunities across target accounts. Core responsibilities include:

Deploying a mix of prospecting approaches—email, phone, marketing qualified leads, social selling, and face‑to‑face events—to identify qualified buyers.

Disseminating Workday’s value messaging while actively discovering the needs of prospects and their organizations.

Managing the initial stages of the sales cycle and championing relationships between account executives and interested prospects.

About You Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of one (1) year of professional or industry‑specific experience (full‑time, part‑time, or internships).

OR two (2) or more years of equivalent work experience if a degree is not present.

Preferred industry experience in prospecting, inside sales, business development, high‑technology exposure, marketing, direct sales, or IT consulting.

Other Qualifications

Highly motivated, tenacious, self‑starter.

Ability to hold resourceful, significant executive‑level conversations.

Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.

Knowledge of Salesforce.com, Clari Groove, ZoomInfo.

Early Career Associate eligibility for recent graduates (degree completion between December 2024 and June 2026).

Workday Pay Transparency Statement The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role‑specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need.

Primary Location: USA, CA, San Francisco Base Pay Range: $49,700 USD – $74,600 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $42,000 USD – $74,600 USD

Our Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we combine the best of in‑person and remote work. Those in remote “home office” roles can attend office meetings and events as needed. We expect to spend at least 50 % of time each quarter in the office or in the field.
