Employment Opportunity As an Unarmed Security Officer you will be part of a highly trained security team supporting critical facilities, public venues, and personal protective services. You’ll receive training in weapons handling and marksmanship and be integral to Inter‑Con’s broad spectrum of specialized security services.

Minimum Requirements Upon Hire

Capable of handling the physical requirements of the position, including responding to emergencies and providing aid.

At least 21 years old (USA only). Age exception approved by regional security director if all other qualifications met.

Ability to read, write, and converse clearly in English.

Customer‑focused with good telephone skills.

Practice normal hygiene and personal cleanliness; neat in dress and appearance.

High school education or equivalent.

Completed state certification and licensing as required.

Successful completion of initial drug test, criminal background check, motor‑vehicle record check (as appropriate), and annual first aid/CPR/AED certification.

Certified Fire Guard, if applicable.

Ability to obtain certification as a Fire Safety Director, if required.

Minimum one year prior security officer experience (previous law‑enforcement or military experience may substitute).

Requirements Of Position

Safeguard bank personnel, assets, and property.

Identify employees and authorized personnel entering bank buildings or departments.

Screen visitors, maintenance/construction workers, vendors, couriers, and other personnel for authorized entry.

Ensure property passes or other authorizations accompany personnel leaving with equipment or packages.

Respond to emergency conditions within assigned building or department and take corrective action per supervisor direction.

Enforce all post orders and conform to the articles covered in the general orders.

Assist customers, employees, visitors, emergency responders, and others as required.

Patrol bank premises.

Perform duties of a Fire Guard or a Fire Safety Director, as required.

Prepare incident reports detailing all information and actions taken to address conditions or emergencies.
