Contract Manager – Roth Staffing This position is a W2 hourly contract with Roth Staffing for a client in Boston (Pier 4).

The role is 4 months long and may be extended.

It requires 2–3 days per week onsite.

Summary:

We are seeking a Contract Manager to oversee the full contract lifecycle, from creation to archiving.

This role reports to the Associate Director, Legal Operations & Contract Management, and serves as the point of entry for all contractual needs within the organization.

The manager will handle simple contracts independently and collaborate with legal stakeholders on complex agreements.

Key Requirements:

5+ years of contract management experience, including drafting and negotiating contracts

Experience with contract redlining and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong negotiating, active listening, and stakeholder engagement skills

Ability to prioritize and manage a high volume of work

Detail‑oriented drafting and review of contracts

Understanding of standard contract clauses, legal terminology, and formats

Primary Responsibilities:

Serve as the sole entry point for contracting requests; assess complexity and determine contract type

Collaborate with requestors to gather requirements and select appropriate templates

Manage the full contract lifecycle: drafting, negotiation (simple contracts), redlining, and execution

Coordinate with legal, compliance, procurement, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely renewals, amendments, and terminations

Escalate complex legal questions and risks to appropriate stakeholders

Maintain accurate contract storage and archiving in the system

Advocate for organizational interests while fostering positive relationships

Support process improvements and operational initiatives as directed by management

Perform additional duties as assigned

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, Legal Studies, or paralegal certification

Travel & Location:

Less than 5% travel

Boston‑based role; hybrid with 2–3 days in office (more onsite during onboarding)
