Join Amentum as a
Cyber Intelligence Analyst
supporting the Cyber Group ONE Command. Located in Wahiawa, HI, the analyst will analyze complex cyber threat data, produce actionable intelligence, and support cyber operations.
Responsibilities
Evaluate target opportunities using all-source data to understand and map target networks.
Analyze SIGINT and cybersecurity data across the OSI stack, demonstrating a solid understanding of logical/physical IP core infrastructure.
Develop new tradecraft as technologies evolve.
Collaborate with government, military, and contractor personnel to develop shared understandings of intelligence needs.
Apply analytic techniques to query, merge, enrich, evaluate, and pivot within data to attain insights.
Distill, document, contextualize, and share findings with teammates and stakeholders.
Conduct in-depth analysis of emerging malware, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
Collect, evaluate, and fuse intelligence from OSINT, SIGINT, and HUMINT, identifying correlations and patterns.
Assess potential impact of cyber threats on network infrastructure and collaborate with defense teams on mitigation strategies.
Provide intelligence support during incident response, including analysis of IOCs, attribution, and TTPs.
Prepare and deliver clear intelligence products, reports, briefings, and presentations for senior leadership and technical teams.
Foster collaboration and information sharing with internal and external stakeholders.
Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats, technologies, and methodologies through continuous research.
Use collected data to identify potential vulnerabilities and defend against cyber events.
Help develop mitigations to strengthen network defenses.
Develop expertise in networking protocols, cloud security, and advanced network security.
Minimum Requirements
Experience with SIGINT and analytics, including AMOD.
Proficiency in PCAP/packet processing and ability to identify IOCs.
Experience with network protocol analyzers (e.g., Wireshark, TCP Dump).
Experience linking indicators to target-related information.
Familiarity with scripting (Python or object‑oriented).
Experience correlating SIGINT network traffic collection.
Experience with tradecraft for Persona/Capability/Infrastructure development.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding of the Intelligence Cycle.
Knowledge of industry connections supporting IC technical efforts.
Advanced cybersecurity and communication technology principles.
Strong problem‑solving and creative solution skills.
Deep understanding of adversary networks, defenses, and cyber operational capabilities.
Minimum 4 years support of cyber operations, intelligence analysis, or network defense (preferred).
Graduate of JCAC or equivalent military cyber training (preferred).
Optional: Cyber Mission Force Work Role Senior Certified (Host/Network Analyst, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent coursework).
STEM degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, IT or related field (preferred).
Relevant experience in design, development, programming, information assurance, or systems engineering.
10+ years with intelligence analysis focusing on cyber threats and operations (preferred).
Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance; U.S. citizenship required for Top‑Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Experience in DoD or IC organizations conducting cyber operations.
Industry technical certifications: NET+, SEC+, CEH, CISSP, OSCP, OSCE, CCSP, GCFA, or other GIAC.
Compensation & Benefits HIRING SALARY RANGE: $145,000 - $185,000 (salary determined by education, experience, skills, and market data).
