This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations.
Responsibilities
Partner with executive leadership to evaluate and drive internal thinking on organic and inorganic growth opportunities
Identify appropriate opportunities which support Blue Origin's strategic priorities through interaction with senior business leaders, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, investment bankers, and organic pipeline generation
Act as a subject matter expert on financial analysis, deal structuring, and valuation
Lead financial analysis, synergy forecasting, valuation and due diligence of potential acquisitions
Lead cross‑functional due diligence teams, including legal, finance & accounting, tax, human resources, operations, IT, sales, and strategy
Lead deal flow process from term sheet signature to integration
Evaluate opportunities and risks in potential transactions
Perform research, reporting and analysis on M&A activity in the industry
Present investment thesis memos and recommendations for all stages of the deal process (sourcing to integration planning)
Build and maintain tools, analytics, and reporting to highlight performance measurements

Qualifications
8+ years of demonstrated ability in investment banking, corporate development, venture capital, finance, or consulting
Experience creating and analyzing M&A processes for a wide variety of transactions, including public‑public, public‑private, and cross‑border transactions
Highly organized and capable of planning and guiding complex technical work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent written communication and presentation skills
Aptitude for teamwork with demonstrated potential for leadership
Proven ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects
Comfortable in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
Desired (Preferred)
MBA from a top‑tier business school
Experience working at or supporting a Fortune 500 company or venture‑backed start‑up
Experience working with U.S. Government research agencies (e.g., NASA, AFRL, DARPA)
Compensation Range For WA applicants: $164,682.00 – $230,554.80
