Description
Pixel arrays and architectures.
Bias generators and reference circuits.
Design analog and mixed-signal circuits for CMOS image sensors, including:
Pixel arrays and architectures.
Column amplifiers.
Analog-to-digital converters (ADCs).
Bias generators and reference circuits.
Circuit Simulation And Verification, Including
Run detailed SPICE simulations.
Perform corner analysis and Monte Carlo simulations.
Temperature and process variation analysis.
Noise analysis and optimization.
Layout Design And Verification, Including
Create and optimize analog circuit layouts.
Ensure compliance with design rules.
Perform parasitic extraction and post-layout simulations.
Technical Documentation And Collaboration, Including
Collaborate with digital design, system architecture, and test teams.
Participate in design reviews.
Support chip verification and validation.
Performance Optimization, Including
Improve sensor parameters like H-banding, noise, linearity, etc.
Address cross-talk and other interference issues.
Requirement Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field with a focus on mixed-signal circuit design.
Must Have Skills In
Digital MOS VLSI circuit design and layout; circuit simulation and synthesis.
MOSFET operation and models; Elementary amplifier configurations; biasing and references; frequency response; noise; feedback; operational amplifiers; frequency compensation; non-linearity and mismatch; passive and active filters.
System and transistor-level analysis and design of integrated circuits.
Schematic design, simulation, layout, post-layout verification of analog, mixed signal integrated circuits.
Annual base salary for this role in California, US is expected to be between $156,853 - $160,000. Actual pay will be determined on a number of factors such as relevant skills and experience, and the pay of employees in the similar role.
