Director of Nursing (DON)
to lead clinical operations at our 60‑bed facility in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring high‑quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and strong clinical team performance.
Qualifications
Active RN license in New Jersey or a valid multi‑state (compact) license – required
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in long‑term care or skilled nursing – required
Prior DON or strong ADON experience preferred
Solid understanding of NJ Department of Health regulations and survey process
Proven leadership, communication, and staff development skills
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all nursing operations and clinical services within the facility
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Lead, mentor, and develop nursing leadership and clinical staff
Maintain high standards of resident care and clinical outcomes
Participate in quality assurance, performance improvement, and survey readiness
Collaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to support facility goals
