Global Transaction Advisory Group (TAG) TAG is a subsidiary of A&M, an established leader in providing global leadership and advisory services to a variety of diverse industries. TAG professionals specialize largely in providing financial and accounting buy‑side and sell‑side due diligence, capital markets and accounting advisory, global transaction analytics, environmental, technical & sustainability (ETS) and other related M&A services for private equity, hedge funds, sovereign wealth, family office and corporate clients around the world.
Global Transaction Analytics (GTA) A&M’s Global Transaction Analytics (GTA) practice, within our Transaction Advisory Group, has an exciting opportunity to join a fast‑growing team in San Francisco, Denver, Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Houston, Nashville and Boston. We are seeking an Associate to bring their energy, passion, and expertise to help our clients get the answers they need to get the deal done across the investment lifecycle from pre‑deal to post‑deal analysis.
How you will contribute
Get involved in a variety of interesting projects across different industries, including manufacturing, distribution, consumer, retail, restaurants, business and industrial services, healthcare, software & technology, energy, and financial services.
Offer data‑enabled business, financial, and operational transparency during pre‑acquisition due diligence or post‑acquisition performance improvement projects.
Responsibilities
Assist with numerous client engagements
Extract insights from data sets and trends by utilizing different tools and techniques
Effectively facilitate day‑to‑day client interaction and relationships
Work cohesively and collaboratively across stakeholders
Counsel and mentor junior members of the team and continue to develop the team’s technical acumen
Qualifications
A minimum of 2+ years of experience in data analytics or transaction services
Buy‑side/vendor due diligence experience across industries preferred
Understanding of M&A / PE investment lifecycle preferred
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Statistics, Information Systems or a related field
Understanding of data extraction, manipulation, analytics and visualization approachesStrong technical background with hands‑on data analytics experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, relational databases/SQL querying, Alteryx, business intelligence/visualization (Tableau and/or Power BI), big data and machine learning concepts
Ability to leverage business intelligence software
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a thorough yet concise manner
Exceptional project management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Flexibility to work as both a team member in a collaborative setting and as an individual contributor
Ability to thrive and be effective in fast‑paced settings

Base salary is $100,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in A&M’s fringe benefits including healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined from time to time as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
