Submarine Logistics Technical Data (LTD) Specialist Serco – District of Columbia, United States

As the Submarine Logistic Technical Data (LTD) Specialist, you will provide programmatic support to our NAVSEA customers in the Washington, DC area. Your expertise and collaborative skills will impact our military defense and the safety of our sailors.

Responsibilities

Produce and manage LTD products including Ship Systems Manuals, Special Emphasis Programs Boundary Books, Component Tech Manuals, and Weapon System Support Systems Manuals.

Process technical data product reviews for SSN688, SSN21, SSN23, SSBN726, and SSGN726 classes, managing routing and tracking throughout the product review cycle.

Handle new LTD products and changes, prioritizing based on schedule and maintenance availability.

Participate in LTD status and planning meetings, producing minutes and notes.

Coordinate technical reviews, ensuring timely resolution of technical, administrative, and editorial comments.

Generate and maintain LTD process metrics.

Collaborate with program offices to deliver LTD products supporting Integrated Logistic Support certifications.

Assist with routing and processing distribution requests for LTD products.

Monitor and support LTD actions for decommissioning submarines and retiring configurations.

Maintain Objective Quality Evidence records for auditability and compliance with federal records management policy.

Qualifications

Active DoD Secret security clearance required at time of application.

5 or more years of experience in technical data or related field.

Bachelor’s Degree.

OR 7 years of total experience with an Associate’s Degree.

OR 10 years of total experience with a High School Diploma/GED.

Self‑starter with strong attention to detail and comfort with technical details.

Experience interfacing with an end‑item customer.

Familiarity with handling CUI, NOFORN, sensitive, unclassified, and classified documents.

Ability to travel at least 10% of the time.

Additional preferred experience: SharePoint, active‑duty submarine service, Team Submarine, and specific IT resources such as CDMD‑OA, ATIS, ERP, NTIRA, NDE, eForms, METIS, OneTouch, Haystack, Windchill MBPS.
