Position Summary Thomas Eye Group is seeking a
Director of People Operations
to lead and oversee all aspects of the organization’s People Operations function. This role is responsible for developing and executing people strategies that support operational excellence, compliance, and a positive employee experience across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all People Operations functions, including organizational development, employee relations, training and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance
Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure legal compliance and operational consistency
Oversee onboarding, benefits administration, payroll coordination, recruitment and staffing, HRIS systems, and workforce planning
Partner with department leaders and corporate leadership to support employee coaching, performance management, and engagement initiatives
Serve as a key resource for employment law compliance, including FMLA, ADA, EEOC, FLSA, workers’ compensation, OSHA, and related reporting requirements
Act as liaison with outside labor counsel and government agencies as needed
Lead, coach, and develop direct reports through ongoing training, feedback, and project leadership
Promote and champion a healthy, inclusive workplace culture that supports employee engagement and retention
This role plays a critical part in aligning people strategies with TEG’s mission, values, and long-term growth.
