Description This role supports the successful execution of roofing and construction projects from initial site assessment through closeout. The Project Director works closely with business development, operations, clients, and insurance partners to ensure projects are properly scoped, documented, compliant, and completed efficiently while maintaining strong client relationships.
What You’ll Do
Business development / Marketing – Assist in business development efforts to market services.
Site assessment & project scoping (Xactimate/Symbility) – Assess on-sight damage and help establish a customized scope and timeline for repair work.
Client interaction & needs interpretation – Interpret the client’s needs, communicate them to operations staff, and help ensure clients’ expectations are understood and met.
Project setup & start-up – Pre-con meeting.
Ongoing support & issue resolution – Handle change orders and supplements, all insurance adjuster, construction consultant, and engineer meetings.
Safety, compliance & meeting – Participate in toolbox talks, ensure compliance with OSHA and safety protocols in the field, and ensure safe operations.
Administrative tasks & documentation – Maintain project documentation, correspondence, scope documents, change orders, and other necessary paperwork.
Facilitate collections on projects.
What You Bring to the Table Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in roofing or construction project coordination
Strong organizational and communication skills
Experience with Xactimate and other construction/roofing estimating tools
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Working knowledge of commercial roofing systems preferred
Preferred Qualifications
National or multi-site project experience
Familiarity with estimating and cost controls
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
