Base pay range $140,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr
We are looking for a FinOps Engineer to be responsible for measuring and monitoring the performance of the public cloud investments.
Location Hybrid role in Downtown Chicago
Responsibilities
FinOps will partner with teams under Cloud leadership to analyze cost.
Will develop and implement a cost optimization strategy for cloud / snowflake spend.
Evaluate and optimize Snowflake workloads for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Develop an AWS bill audit process and conduct regular reviews.
Qualifications
knowledge of AWS billing structures, pricing models, and services.
Experience leveraging cloud financial tools like AWS Cost Explorer, AWS Budgets, and AWS Billing Console.
Experience defining and implementing tagging policies and cost allocation mechanisms.
Understanding of financial controls and implementing them cross-functionally.
