We are currently recruiting for an experienced Director of Education at our campus. The candidate selected for this role will be responsible for managing and leading the campus education team by overseeing the delivery of quality educational programs and the development and implementation of effective academic strategies to meet campus student retention, and completion goals.

Primary Responsibilities

Comply with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, accreditor standards, and institutional policies and procedures.

Supervise and manage faculty members and staff by providing day-to-day performance coaching advice and monthly advisements.

Recruit, train and develop faculty members and staff.

Conduct classroom observations on a regular basis.

Work with faculty members to conduct curriculum reviews to improve the quality of instruction.

Prepare class schedules to optimize class size for an effective student learning experience.

Ensure all students are advised regularly on their progress.

Advise, coach, and monitor all students at risk of violating attendance or academic progress policies.

Administer student surveys and ensure their timely review; prepare action plans to address concerns and feedback collected through such surveys.

Monitor campus-level metrics related to retention, attendance, and completion outcomes to meet institutional objectives.

Manage Education department budget, including staff, faculty, and resource allocation to ensure effective operations and meet critical targets and goals in student retention, completion, and Active Earning Population.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 3 years of combined management, teaching and education administration experience.

Teaching and Curriculum Development: Demonstrated understanding of student needs in post-secondary environment and track record of effective teaching, curriculum development, and education administration.

Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including problem solving and conflict resolution.

Modern Workforce Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other daily-used software.

Management: Proven self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit who can build a great team.
