This role is pivotal in shaping the strategy, planning, and operations of our HR shared services function, with a strong focus on partner experience, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and cost efficiency. You will also provide oversight of outsourced managed service providers.
Base pay range
$165,500.00/yr - $276,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire: model leadership behaviors rooted in Starbucks Mission and Values, galvanize teams and foster high performance.
- Deliver operational excellence: align strategy, plans, and budgets with partner needs; establish and continuously improve partner experience metrics.
- Drive innovation: lead initiatives to eliminate pain points, scale operations through standardized processes and digital capabilities, and integrate business changes into contact center operations.
- Develop talent: set clear goals, provide coaching, feedback, and growth opportunities for partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience leading HR shared services or HR operations functions.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, policies and practices.
- Proven success in leading and developing high‑performing teams.
- Experience leading managed service providers.
- Ability to manage complex portfolios in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Collaborative style with a strong customer focus and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to influence and build relationships across a matrixed organization.
- Strategic mindset with a hands‑on approach when needed.
- Strong analytical skills to leverage data for performance improvement.
- Highly organized with exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
