What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a financial institution.

+ Monitor access to the location by verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining visitor logs as required.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Assist with emergency response activities, such as guiding occupants during evacuations and/or alerting appropriate personnel.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.

+ Operate security-related equipment such as surveillance cameras, access control systems, and communication devices as needed.

+ Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized entry and provide a welcoming experience for all visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Have at least 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.

+ Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate's degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
