Job Description
As an IAM Engineer II on our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, you will report to the Manager leading Authentication and Access Control services. You will implement secure, scalable authentication and access solutions, partner with other technical teams to create user‑centric identity experiences, and evolve the global IAM platform for the world’s largest restaurant company.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable authentication and access control solutions using Microsoft Entra.
Develop and execute strategies for implementing solutions that meet business needs.
Provide technical assistance in IAM, ensuring alignment with best practices and security standards.
Collaborate with IAM product and technical teams to define and execute the product roadmap, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and provide consultation on identity and authentication processes.
Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements to authentication and access control services.
Implement the latest authentication and access control features, security trends, and best practices.
Work cross‑functionally with developers, engineers, and project managers to deliver Active Directory and Entra implementations.
Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, architecture diagrams, system configurations, and operational procedures; generate reports on IAM performance, compliance status, and security incidents.
Collaborate with IT teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver effective IAM solutions.
Qualifications
3+ years of professional IAM or similar experience implementing and operating enterprise‑level authentication and access control solutions.
Knowledge of IAM concepts, protocols, and technologies, including identity provisioning, authentication, authorization, RBAC, SSO, and federation.
Understanding of Entra capabilities such as contextual login, step‑up authentication, or impossible travel.
Experience with other identity platforms (Okta, Ping, etc.) is a plus.
Technical experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, and other Microsoft identity technologies.
Foundational understanding of OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect, and LDAP.
Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, risk management, access controls, and secure coding.
Analytical and problem‑solving skills to translate business requirements into practical IAM solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams and organizational levels.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or vendor‑specific IAM certifications are a plus.
Compensation
Bonus Eligible: YES. Benefits Eligible: YES.
Salary Range $104,482.00 – $130,602.00 per year.
