We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with strong experience in the automotive industry, specifically in bonding, sealing, and press injection molding processes. This role is critical to ensuring production excellence, process optimization, and successful product launches.
Define and optimize production process parameters to ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Develop and maintain documentation for production support, data collection, and process improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to approve new product designs, tooling, and processes for production readiness.
Coordinate and attend tooling tryouts at vendor and manufacturing facilities, ensuring successful implementation.
Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for cost-saving improvements.
Collaborate effectively with engineers, technicians, and vendors to resolve installation and maintenance issues.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field
~3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred)
~ Hands-on experience with bolding, sealing, press injection molding, and Fanuc robotics programming/troubleshooting
~ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and SolidWorks
~ Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
This position requires working onsite, ensuring a collaborative and hands-on approach to manufacturing processes. You will be directly involved in production activities, tooling validation, and process optimization to support high-quality automotive manufacturing.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carey, OH.
