Village surgery is a friendly and approachable 5 partner GPpractice in Derby, we serve 12,500 patients drawn from the city and surroundingvillages. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiasticSalariedGP(ARRS funded)to join our friendly and supportive team for a12-month fixed term contract. Five/six sessions per week plus equitable sharesof home visits, shares of half a day on-call duties (session times to benegotiated) and a share of covering partners on holiday. The post-holder willmanage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary caresetting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered andtemporary patients. About us

Job responsibilities
To workas an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medicalservices to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard ofclinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract. Furthermore, thepost-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice,contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example,maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with themultidisciplinary team. Qualifications
Qualified GP Qualified with last 24 months MRCGP Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT) Experience
Experience of working in a primary care environment Experience of continued professional development Experience of QOF and clinical audit General understanding of the GMS contract Experience of medicines management Experience of ICB initiatives Disclosure and Barring Service Check
