Job Summary & Responsibilities Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington is recruiting a full‑time gastroenterologist to join our care team. The ideal candidate is an exceptional clinician with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient‑centered care and teamwork.
Opportunities for clinical program development across our healthcare system exist for interested individuals. Preference is given to candidates with an aptitude for academic pursuits. The Center for Digestive Health is a destination program that serves more than 80 clinicians in gastroenterology and gastrointestinal surgery, providing over 76,000 clinic visits, 55,000 endoscopic procedures and 9,000 surgeries annually across Virginia Mason Franciscan Health locations.
Infrastructure includes a clinical research and analytics team, in addition to academic support. Several clinical and research fellowships are housed within the center and clinicians are engaged as faculty in training medical and surgical residents, including general gastroenterology fellows.

Qualifications
BC/BE in gastroenterology
Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA
Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority
