Baptist Health Medical Louisville is Growing and seeking BC/BE general and advanced gastroenterologists for the Louisville team.
Practice Overview
Eight employed physicians and eight employed APCs support daily hospital rounds and clinic volume
High-volume, open-access endoscopy program
Broad referral base from Baptist Health-employed primary care providers and affiliated providers
Weekend call is one weekend every seven weekends
Inpatient hospital coverage:
Physicians provide one week of daytime coverage and one week of nighttime coverage every six weeks
Additional compensation provided per shift for hospital coverage
Clinic and endoscopy schedules tailored to physician preference with block time
Baptist Health Louisville provides:
24/24 anesthesia coverage for endoscopy procedures
24/24 ICU intensivist coverage, which decreases nighttime call volume
Epic electronic health record system integrated across all hospital and practice locations

About Baptist Health Louisville Baptist Health Louisville is a 519-bed tertiary-care hospital located in the heart of St. Matthews. The all-private room hospital provides virtually all inpatient services with the exception of transplantation and burn care.
The hospital’s emergency services include special teams for heart attack and stroke care. Cancer services include two freestanding radiation centers and the Charles and Mimi Osborn Cancer Center, which also offers a cancer resource center and a multidisciplinary lung care clinic. Special services include women’s health, labor and delivery, digital mammography, ultrasound and bone-density scanning for osteoporosis.
