Job Description Strategic Leadership
Develops the vision and short‑ and long‑term strategic plan for the Americas PDS business.
Mobilizes resources and guides the 500+ member Americas PDS team to execute and achieve the strategic plan and financial goals. Establishes a framework for tracking progress and measuring success. Holds leaders accountable for achievement of results.
Positions the company as an industry leader through innovation and best‑in‑class management practices. Relentlessly drives our business forward for our clients and colleagues.
Cultivates an environment where entrepreneurial mindset is aligned with enterprise needs.
Visible and active in key industry organizations. Known as the leader of an exceptional organization and a top provider of project management solutions for Investors and Occupiers.
Financial Oversight
Responsible for achievement of the annual operating plan financial targets for the Americas PDS business. In partnership with Finance, continuously monitors actual results vs. AOP targets and implements mitigation plans to address shortfalls.
Works with Geographic and Specialty Segment Leaders to:
Maximize client satisfaction and retention, shape profitability, and drive growth locally, regionally, nationally, and in specialty sectors.
Maximize return on revenue, ensuring strong performance and long‑term value creation.
Business Development:
Sets the strategy to achieve growth objectives and works closely with the Region and Specialty Segment leaders to execute the plan. Continuously monitors progress toward achievement, including pipeline, wins and losses. Effectively guides the team through challenges to achieve results.
Drives cross‑functional service integration and supports pursuits.
Identifies opportunities for expansion, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships to expand and grow the business and service offerings for clients. Oversees negotiations for major acquisitions, joint ventures and investment opportunities.
Strategic Relationships
Establishes and fosters relationships with clients to ensure C&W is delivering on our commitments and leveraging our expertise and capabilities to support the achievement of their strategic objectives.
Establishes and fosters relationships with colleagues across C&W, collaborating to bring the best of C&W to clients across all businesses. Fosters a culture of collaboration within the Americas Project Development Services team and across the organization.
Aligns with vendor partners and C&W’s Procurement experts to create collaborative and consistent procurement opportunities.
Leverages corporate support organizations (e.g. HR, Finance, Marketing, Research, etc.) to optimize operational performance, support strategy and deliver best‑in‑class solutions to clients.
Talent Management
Establishes a culture of high performance, success and accountability throughout the organization. Ensures performance challenges are addressed promptly and effectively.
