Executive Director, Investor Relations & Capital Raising – Private Credit

We are in search of an Executive Director or Managing Director who will develop and maintain relationships with Private Credit counterparts among our institutional clients and prospects, and grow our Private Credit revenue and AUM. Morgan Stanley Private Credit invests in privately negotiated senior debt, junior debt, and structured equity to private corporate issuers in North America through a Direct Lending and Opportunistic Credit strategy. The Private Markets Distribution (PMD) team leads and drives all capital formation activities for MSIM’s Private Markets platform and works closely with investment teams, global sales, marketing, and senior leadership to plan and execute private capital raises.
Responsibilities
Grow revenue and AUM simultaneously across Private Credit.
Communicate daily and collaborate with Sales and Alternatives Consultant Coverage persons.
Develop strong relationships with individual Investment Teams and the Alternatives Consultant Coverage and Sales Teams.
Maintain and share client reports and meeting notes.
Work with Marketing, Compliance, and Legal on product development.
Qualifications
10+ years’ experience leading coverage of Institutional Investors.
In‑depth knowledge of Private Credit markets across Direct Lending and Opportunistic Credit.
History of commercial success driving private credit sales, distribution, product, and client engagement with sophisticated asset owners across North America.
Results‑oriented thinker who embraces accountability.
Excellent communication skills.
Success working in a highly collaborative environment.
Highly team‑oriented and collaborative mindset.
Compensation Expected base pay rates will be between $200,000 and $300,000 per year at the commencement of employment. Total compensation may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, and other Morgan Stanley‑sponsored benefit programs.
