ObGyn Hospitalist Physician – Laborist (Delaware)
Join a Delaware non‑profit system that delivers an estimated 2,700 deliveries annually. Our Laborist team supports high‑volume inpatient obstetric care 24/7.
Responsibilities
Flexible schedule: 40‑minute shift to the beach, 90‑minute travel to Philadelphia, plus 7 full‑time 24‑hour shifts per month.
Inpatient responsibilities only – working with a highly trained CNM and nursing team.
Manage 10 Labor & Delivery rooms, 4 OB ED triage rooms, 1 pre‑op, 2 PACU beds, 2 ORs adjacent to the NICU, and 20 postpartum beds on the next floor.
Use available robotics and a high‑acuity perinatal care system (A‑1 perinatal guidelines set by ACOG).
Collaborate with in‑house pediatrician, neonatal specialist, and 24/7 anesthesia coverage.
Precept residents and/or medical students as needed.
International medical graduates with current US work visa welcome.
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible MD/DO; US residency preferred (but not mandatory).
Current US work visa required.
Compensation & Benefits
Fixed base salary.
