Job Description Cortex Cloud is Palo Alto Networks' next‑generation CNAPP (Cloud‑Native Application Protection Platform) built on the Cortex data and AI platform. It is the strategic future of cloud security at Palo Alto Networks, designed to reduce tool sprawl, improve risk prioritization and align cloud security with SOC, XDR, and AI‑driven operations. A critical company priority is migrating existing Prisma Cloud customers to Cortex Cloud with minimal friction, clear value uplift, and zero loss of security coverage. We are looking for a Director of Product Management who can lead the strategic migration of customers from Prisma Cloud to Cortex Cloud. This leader will own the product vision, roadmap, and execution for customer migration—ensuring feature parity, improved outcomes, seamless onboarding, and long‑term customer success. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, customer experience, engineering execution, and go‑to‑market alignment.
Your Impact
Own the end‑to‑end Prisma Cloud to Cortex Cloud migration strategy
Design customer‑first migration workflows
Act as the single‑threaded owner for migration outcomes
Work effectively with all areas of the organization in a global company, from engineering to sales
Work closely with our customer success, marketing and sales teams on supporting existing customers, identifying common user problems and taking the solutions you define to market
Qualifications
10+ years in product management
Minimum 3 years in product management domain expertise in cloud security vendors required
A track record of delivering customer acquisition growth and optimization across key metrics
Inherent passion for cybersecurity and solving problems
Strong go‑to‑market and business analysis skills
Drive to design new, innovative and disruptive solutions
Strong desire to take ownership of new technology products and their full life cycle
Articulate and effective communication skills, both in writing and verbally
Team player with a can‑do approach
BS/MS in Computer Science or other engineering/technical degree or equivalent military experience required
AI experience – an advantage
Compensation Disclosure The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non‑sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $238,300 - $327,025/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
